In August of 2012, I had the pleasure of spending a week on the coast of Japan near the Sea of Japan in Fukui prefecture. We stayed at a temple, played only one concert and had an unbelievably relaxing time. Of course, there was plenty of time for bathing in the hot springs (onset) of Fukui and traveling along the rocky coastline.
