In 2011, while living in Morioka, Japan, I used to practice trumpet everyday at the park in front of the Kita Kami river. And everyday after playing the horn for 15-20 minutes, this huge bird would arrive and circle above for 15-20 minutes. A few times this bird gave me quite a show by flying really high and diving straight down to the water to catch a fish. I wish I had a better camera/lenses then. Oh well...maybe someday....soon.
